Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoel Romero (ranked 3560 p4p, 325 weight class) and Fits Miz (ranked 3767 p4p, 337 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yoel Romero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fits Miz!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Romero.
Romero tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Miz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Romero closes the distance but Miz moves to the side

and Miz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Romero won't be happy with that.
Miz lands a nice forearm strike.

Romero tries to work over Miz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Miz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Miz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Romero's guard.

Romero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miz tries to avoid it but Romero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miz to the ground. Miz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Romero clinches up with Miz and pushes him back against the cage.

Miz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Miz gets to his feet - Romero follows without any prompting.
Yoel Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Romero moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Miz tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Miz decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Miz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Miz swats away the attempt to clinch by Romero.
Romero tries for a takedown but Miz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Miz keeps the fight on the outside.
Romero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miz sprawls well. Miz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Romero gets slowly back to his feet.

Miz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Romero is staying active underneath Miz, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Romero on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Romero tries to get out of the position.
Miz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Romero haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Miz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Romero finds it's way round the side to connect with Miz's head.

Romero throws an overhand right that drops Miz like a sack of potatoes! Romero dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
