Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Powell (ranked 6049 p4p, 409 weight class) and CP Schlatter (ranked 24377 p4p, 492 weight class). CP Schlatter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlatter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Powell.
Schlatter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A little feinted left hand from Powell on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Powell lands an elbow inside that Schlatter shrugs off.

Schlatter lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
