Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Bonsai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Falcon!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonsai lands with an uppercut that bounces Falcon off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Jack Falcon has been cut.
Bonsai moves away from the strike by Falcon.
Bonsai scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Falcon doesn't seem bothered though.
A head kick misses from Falcon.
Bonsai scores with a body shot.
Bonsai shoots for a double leg takedown but Falcon sprawls well. He's pushed Bonsai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bonsai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jeff Bonsai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falcon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bonsai shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Falcon sprawls well. Falcon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bonsai gets slowly back to his feet.
Falcon throws a series of punches but Bonsai moves out of range.
Bonsai connects with a right that clearly hurt Falcon. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Bonsai proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Falcon collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Bonsai!
