Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hipolito Slater (ranked 24724 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Susa (ranked 4686 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater avoids the head kick by Susa.
Slater dodges the punch combination from Susa.

Susa is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Slater's half guard.

Slater kicks off Susa and gets to his feet.
Susa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slater pinned against the cage. Slater gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Susa is looking to stand back up but Slater counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Susa.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Susa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slater. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slater lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Slater will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Slater gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Susa regains guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Hipolito Slater will probably get the nod.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Susa shoots in for a takedown but Slater shows good takedown defense.
Marko Susa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Slater goes for a double leg but Susa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Susa continues to drive forward.

Marko Susa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Slater is trying to trip Susa. He has hold of a leg but Susa is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Slater persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Susa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Slater has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Susa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Slater drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Susa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slater has Susa in his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Susa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slater, pushing him back against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hipolito Slater.
I think Slater has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
