Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beto Terra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murilo Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terra comes to the cage accompanied by hino rio grandense. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua circles away from the clinch attempt.
Terra fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Terra shoots for a double leg takedown but Rua sprawls well. He's pushed Terra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rua scores a takedown into full mount!
Terra tries to reverse the position but Rua maintains control.

Terra keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Rua looking to finish Terra with some ground and pound. This is bad for Terra!

Rua with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Rua connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rua has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Terra regains half guard.
Terra is looking to improve his position.

Rua is nestled in close to Terra, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Rua working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Rua is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rua is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Rua looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Terra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rua is keen to just control but Terra is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rua gets a takedown into half guard.

Rua thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Terra pushes Rua off and gets back to his feet.

and Terra counters with a single leg into guard. Rua didn't expect that.

Rua is looking for a triangle but Terra pushes his legs off easily.

Rua has his feet on Terra's thighs here. He's pushed Terra off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Terra screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
