Bohnam's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hair of the Dog. The crowd seem to be enjoying da Silva's choice of entrance music: Welcome to the jungle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bohnam swings and misses with a hook to the body.
da Silva looks to land a combination but Bohnam avoids it well.

da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bohnam paws at him with a jab and circles away.
da Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bohnam moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
da Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bohnam throws the kick towards the body but da Silva avoids it.
Serapiao da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

da Silva shoots in but Bohnam avoids the takedown attempt easily.
da Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

da Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
