Jaron shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jaron was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jaron prevents James from escaping the position.
James can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jaron is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jaron off and has taken his back!

Jaron looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
James controlling well, preventing Jaron from escaping the position.
Jaron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
James is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

James is looking to control Jaron but Jaron is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Jaron tries to escape but James has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Jaron has hold of James's leg, trying to break free but it's let James lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Jaron is turning an unusual color here… he's out! James throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
