The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Doffleberg's half guard.

Doffleberg makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Doffleberg feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Harper's calf.

Harper drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Doffleberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harper manages to get himself to full guard.

Harper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doffleberg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doffleberg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Harper had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Doffleberg defends it easily.
Harper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doffleberg on the ground.

Doffleberg scores with a big shot! Harper's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Harper! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
