Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bisping (ranked 2950 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Armstrong (ranked 4041 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kevin Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Bisping scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bisping misses with a double jab.
Armstrong appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Armstrong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Armstrong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Armstrong goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bisping has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Armstrong but great work by Bisping.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Bisping will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bisping throws a right and a left that Armstrong avoids nicely.

Armstrong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bisping quickly recovers to half guard.

Armstrong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bisping gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kevin Armstrong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

A nice side step and Armstrong releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Armstrong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bisping sprawls well initially but Armstrong persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Armstrong drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bisping dives on top into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Kevin Armstrong.
I think Armstrong has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
