Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ma Moru (ranked 762 p4p, 37 weight class) and Henry The Crab (ranked 1048 p4p, 56 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Crab looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The Crab shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moru sprawls well. Moru wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. The Crab gets slowly back to his feet.
The Crab takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Moru throws a body punch but The Crab moves out of range.
The Crab drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Moru swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We've been hearing good reports from Moru's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The Crab turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and The Crab manages to end up in side control.

The Crab is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moru is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The Crab looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The Crab is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moru, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
