The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron lands with a nice combination. Ivanov backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Ivan Ivanov has been cut.
Iron connects with a looping right hand.
Ivanov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ivanov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Iron.
Iron lands a body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ivanov is defended easily by Iron.
Nelson Iron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanov takes one to the side of the head.
Iron throws a poor cross that misses

and Ivanov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Iron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ivanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
