Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathiu Lentz (ranked 1719 p4p, 194 weight class) and Sasha Khadartsev (ranked 1327 p4p, 151 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mathiu Lentz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sasha Khadartsev!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lentz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Sasha Khadartsev has been cut.

Khadartsev ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Khadartsev no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

My spies in Psycho’s Elites inform me that Khadartsev has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Lentz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Khadartsev under the eye.
Lentz looks to land a right hand but Khadartsev moved out of range.
Khadartsev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lentz manages to avoid it.
It looked like Lentz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Khadartsev.
