Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Dominick De Struicao (ranked 2412 p4p, 264 weight class) and Max Slaughter (ranked 4926 p4p, 428 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Struicao connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Slaughter tries to close the distance and clinch up but De Struicao swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Slaughter takes the fight into the clinch.
Slaughter throws an elbow but it misses.
De Struicao pushes Slaughter back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
De Struicao doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
De Struicao lands with a left to the head.

De Struicao escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Struicao thuds his shin into the meat of Slaughter's side.
De Struicao fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Slaughter has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Slaughter tries to clinch there but De Struicao circles away.
Slaughter takes a kick to the side of the head.
De Struicao explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
De Struicao turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
De Struicao throws a head kick but Slaughter moves out of range.

Slaughter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Slaughter rushes De Struicao and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
De Struicao prevents a body shot from Slaughter.
De Struicao struggles to land a body shot inside as Slaughter controls his hands.

De Struicao digs a right hand underneath Slaughter's ribcage. Slaughter let out a lung full of air as it connected.
De Struicao goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
De Struicao lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
De Struicao tries to land knees in the clinch but Slaughter avoids the damage to the body.
De Struicao lands a hook to the side of the head.

De Struicao is leaning against Slaughter and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Slaughter looks winded!

De Struicao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slaughter tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting De Struicao counter with a right hand.
Max Slaughter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Struicao throws a head kick that half lands.

Slaughter is rocked!
Slaughter walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Slaughter is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
