PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vel Sirra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Optimus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sirra might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Omen by Prodigy. Vel Sirra has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirra fails to land with a series of punches.
Maximus throws a jab when Sirra was well out of range.

Maximus lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Maximus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sirra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Maximus lands a nice short elbow.

Maximus uses his free foot to push down on Sirra's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sirra.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maximus lands a big shot there that rocks Sirra but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Maximus cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Optimus Maximus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Maximus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
