The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haney misses with a body kick.
Some wild striking there from Haney.
Camacho looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Haney throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Camacho's waist but Camacho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haney off to one side.

and Camacho moves into the clinch.
The referee calls for Camacho to work.

Haney is struggling to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Camacho jumps guard and drags Haney to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Camacho has control of Haney's left arm, preventing Haney from doing any damage.
Haney cracks Camacho with a solid left hand.

Camacho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Haney doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Haney manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Camacho wants to sweep here but Haney controlling him for the moment.
Haney throws an elbow that misses. Camacho uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Haney's guard. Nice move by Camacho!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Camacho passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Camacho takes a little break here. Haney wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Haney might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Camacho lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Haney is trying to control Camacho's posture but Camacho avoids it.
Camacho controls the position.
Haney really is a fat lump.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Camacho wants to stand but Haney is controlling his arm.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Camacho fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Haney sprawls well initially but Camacho persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Camacho is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Haney defends it well.

Camacho has an Americana. Haney didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Camacho is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Camacho hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
