Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diambe Soshema!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Soshema, pushing him back against the cage.
Lyons misses with an elbow over the top.
Lyons is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Soshema is defending well for now.
Soshema takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Diambe Soshema has been cut.
A body shot lands from Lyons.
Soshema goes for a takedown attempt but Lyons pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Soshema decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lyons on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyons is doing well to control the position and prevent Soshema from advancing to side control.

Soshema scores with a big shot! Lyons's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Lyons! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
