Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas is trying to get back to his feet but Jones has full control of the position and if anything, Thomas has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Jones controlling the position well here. Thomas rolled but Jones kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

John Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Thomas has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jones off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

I would just about give that final round to Jeremy Thomas.
