TWGC 26 (155lbs, D1): Los Angeles Qualifier - Round 2 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Aaron Hoyle (ranked 5125 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Rios (ranked 1831 p4p, 214 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 3 losses; Aaron Hoyle! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Adam Rios!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Hoyle swats away the attempt to clinch by Rios.

Rios closes the distance and pushes Hoyle back into the cage.
Hoyle is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Hoyle jumps guard and drags Rios to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
