Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Torkel Bystrom (ranked 20802 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam McCullen (ranked 193 p4p, 28 weight class). McCullen has chosen The Foggy Dew as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Sam McCullen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Bystrom darts in and clinches McCullen up against the cage.

Bystrom changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McCullen fights it off and pushes away nicely.

McCullen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Bystrom has a hand on McCullen's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. McCullen takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Let's hope that McCullen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like McCullen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bystrom wants to hold on but McCullen pushes him away.

McCullen wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
McCullen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bystrom reaches up to try and control the position but McCullen seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bystrom rolls and tries to escape and now McCullen has his back!

McCullen has good solid back control here.
McCullen controlling well, preventing Bystrom from escaping the position.

McCullen slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
McCullen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from McCullen.
I really don't envy Bystrom right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bystrom has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
McCullen has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bystrom's body.

Yet more stalling tactics from McCullen.

McCullen is riding his opponent, not letting Bystrom buck him off.

McCullen is continuing to stall.
Bystrom is trying to break free.
McCullen just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

I really don't envy Bystrom right now.
Bystrom rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
McCullen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

McCullen wins on points by 14 to 0.
