The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haney misses with a wild body shot.
Haney throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rizzari.
Haney dives in and grabs Rizzari's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rizzari pushes down on Haney's head and hops out.
Rizzari drives through with a takedown into Haney's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Rizzari seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rizzari postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rizzari drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rizzari jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rizzari passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Haney seems a little lost for a moment, as Rizzari dominates the positioning.
Rizzari has an Americana. Haney didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rizzari is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rizzari hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
