The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soshema fails with a takedown attempt.
Donovan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
The crowd cheers as Donovan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Soshema doesn't seem phased though.
Donovan throws a push kick but Soshema slaps the foot to one side.

and Soshema counters with a takedown into side control.
Donovan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Soshema scores with a couple of short elbows.
Donovan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Soshema lands a strong strike to the head of Donovan. That's dazed him! Soshema looking to finish here. Donovan is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Soshema lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
