Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Schmidt (ranked 1454 p4p, 170 weight class) and Aaron Stone (ranked 1612 p4p, 183 weight class). Schmidt comes into the arena with Sweet Dreams blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schmidt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stone but Stone pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Schmidt takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Schmidt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice straight punches there by Stone. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stone.
Schmidt shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stone lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Schmidt goes for a double leg but Stone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stone continues to drive forward.

Oooooh!!! Stone has knocked Schmidt down with a huge combo! Stone steps away and waves a wobbly Schmidt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Stone slaps away a takedown attempt from Schmidt, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Stone counters with a nice right hand that sends Schmidt toppling to the canvas! Schmidt scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Stone finish him?!
Stone leaves Schmidt with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Schmidt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stone defends well and Schmidt ends up having to push Stone into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Schmidt swings around for an armbar but Stone sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Schmidt's guard.
Stone is looking to stand up but Schmidt won't let him.
Stone wants to control from the top but Schmidt keeps moving.

Stone flicks out a counter leg kick but Schmidt steps away.
Stone dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schmidt. That did some damage!

Schmidt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Schmidt shoots in looking for a takedown but Stone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Schmidt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
