The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SmerkMurd swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rogers shoots in for a takedown but SmerkMurd shows good takedown defense.
SmerkMurd doesn't manage to clinch there - Rogers circles away.
Rogers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rogers wants it to stay on the feet.

Rogers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
SmerkMurd can't keep his opponent in guard - Rogers advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Rogers is going oldschool here, as he tries to force SmerkMurd to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so SmerkMurd shrugs it off.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Rogers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
