The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight stays on the outside here - Gede looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Semenov's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Semenov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Semenov cracks Gede with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Semenov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gede has time to react.
Semenov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gede had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Semenov counters with a huge left! Gede is in big trouble! He's backing up but Semenov isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Gede from any more damage. A dominating finish by Semenov!
