Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Beast Mahala!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Randall takes the fight into the clinch.

Mahala has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Randall is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Randall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mahala gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Randall pulls Mahala in close to his closed guard and prevents Mahala from doing any damage or advancing position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mahala accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mahala is nestled in close to Randall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mahala wants to clinch but Randall slips to the side
and Randall counters with a stiff right hand.

Mahala looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Randall has picked Mahala up and slammed him! Mahala can't keep hold of the triangle and Randall manages to pass to side control!
Randall just content to control the position.
Beast Mahala has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mahala is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Randall is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Randall lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mahala hang on?
Randall tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Randall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mahala has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Randall has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Randall is trying to get back to his feet but Mahala has full control of the position and if anything, Randall has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Mahala is looking for the choke from the back position but Randall is controlling his hands well.

Randall's corner are yelling at him, telling him to just focus on controlling Mahala's hands.
Mahala trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Randall doesn't escape.

Randall breaks Mahala's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Mahala can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Randall controls the pace.

Randall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mahala is proving hard to escape from.
Randall stays in close to Mahala's body and controls the position.

Beast Mahala comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mahala has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
