Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Rothschild (ranked 2851 p4p, 358 weight class) and James Harden (ranked 2273 p4p, 284 weight class). Rothschild comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden- Wrathchild. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Rothschild.
Rothschild ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Harden throws a shot from downtown. Rothschild moves away and avoids it.
Harden throws a one two combo.
Rothschild misses with a looping right.
Rothschild on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Harden. Harden obviously looking to wear him down.
Rothschild bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Harden's head.
Rothschild loads up on a big right hand but Harden slips the punch.
Rothschild misses with a hook.
Harden lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Rothschild takes one on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rothschild misses with a shot to the body
and Harden counters with a stiff right hand.
Harden misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rothschild.
Harden avoids the body shot from Rothschild.
Harden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rothschild manages to avoid it.
Rothschild takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Harden takes a swing at Rothschild's ribcage but misses.

Rothschild throws out a loose jab but Harden uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rothschild attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Harden throws a low kick, looking for Rothschild's leg but Rothschild calmly moves out of range.
Harden throws an overhand right that lands on Rothschild's shoulder, as Rothschild tries to avoid the shot.
Rothschild staying out of range there.
Rothschild takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Harden displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rothschild throws out the jab.
Rothschild lands a head kick. Harden smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like James Harden has been cut.
Rothschild takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Harden lands a nice shot that snaps Rothschild's head back.

Rothschild lands a big head kick that sends Harden tumbling to the mat! Rothschild takes a step backwards and waves Harden back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Harden is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rothschild dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Harden. That did some damage!
Harden is still on wobbly legs! Can Rothschild finish him?
Rothschild walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Harden drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rothschild swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Harden's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
