The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rogers eats them both and turns towards Boyd to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Wayne Rogers has been cut.
Boyd lands a big head kick that sends Rogers to the canvas! Boyd follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Boyd!
John Boyd bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
