PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Rafael De La Rosa (ranked 5750 p4p, 413 weight class) and Manny Fernandez (ranked 5810 p4p, 415 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De La Rosa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Capoeira Fight Song. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez throws a head kick but De La Rosa moves out of range.

De La Rosa drops Fernandez with a big knee! Will Fernandez beat the count? Yep, he's up already and we're only at 3... let's see if he's just faking it or if he's actually OK.

It looks like Manny Fernandez has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fernandez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from De La Rosa - the referee stops the clock and Fernandez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says De La Rosa. Fernandez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

De La Rosa is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Fernandez is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.

Rafael De La Rosa tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
