Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeronimo Rodriguez (ranked 4216 p4p, 466 weight class) and Jack Falcon (ranked 6902 p4p, 570 weight class). Rodriguez comes to the cage accompanied by B E N D E R. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeronimo Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Falcon!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon scores with a hook to the body. Rodriguez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A chopping leg kick lands by Falcon.
Rodriguez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Falcon, pushing him back against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rodriguez.
Falcon can't break the clinch.
Rodriguez lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Falcon or not.
Rodriguez manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Rodriguez lands with a left to the head.
Rodriguez prevents Falcon from breaking the clinch.
Rodriguez tightens his grip and picks Falcon up, before dumping him to the ground. Falcon manages to land in guard.
Rodriguez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rodriguez trying to control the position from guard on top but Falcon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rodriguez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Falcon is keeping the position for now.

Rodriguez passes into half guard.
Falcon wants to get back to full guard.
Rodriguez lands with a punch from half guard.
Rodriguez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Falcon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodriguez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rodriguez connects with a nice short shot to Falcon's temple.
Rodriguez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Falcon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rodriguez scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rodriguez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Rodriguez scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Rodriguez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Rodriguez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Falcon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rodriguez working over Falcon with some ground and pound. Falcon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Falcon is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Falcon wants to get back to full guard but Rodriguez has mounted him!
Rodriguez postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Falcon out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Rodriguez goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
