The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tasdemir tries to clinch there but Hyde circles away.
Hyde is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Tasdemir moves in looking to clinch but Hyde pushes him off.
Hyde lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hyde.
It looks like Mehmed Tasdemir has been cut.
Hyde swats away the attempt to clinch by Tasdemir.
Hyde misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It looked like Tasdemir was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tasdemir tries to close the distance and clinch but Hyde swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hyde has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hyde shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tasdemir napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Tasdemir is trying to escape the position but Hyde is controlling the position.
Hyde postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyde thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Tasdemir is trying to buck Hyde off.

Hyde content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Hyde is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tasdemir knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hyde creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tasdemir sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Hyde wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tasdemir, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tasdemir is trying to get back to his feet.

Hyde working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Tasdemir turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hyde off and cradles Tasdemir's limp body as Hyde celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Lokee Hyde!
After winning the bout, Lokee Hyde thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
