The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels misses with a head kick.
Dobbs drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Daniels defends it well.
Daniels with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dobbs to score with a decent uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Daniels. Dobbs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Daniels is looking to slow Dobbs down with leg kicks.

Dobbs tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dobbs has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Dobbs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Daniels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
