And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Donnley!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnley shoots in and drives through. Allen sprawls well.

Allen closes the distance and clinches.

Allen jumps into guard, dragging Donnley to the mat.
Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Allen keeping moving, preventing Donnley from controlling successfully.

Allen is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Donnley presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Donnley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Allen walks away with a smile on his face. Donnley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Donnley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Allen defends well.

Allen stands up from Donnley's guard - Allen perhaps looking for a knockout.

Allen moves into range and clinches up with Donnley.

Donnley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Donnley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Allen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Allen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Donnley blocks it with crossed arms.
Donnley goes for a takedown in the clinch but Allen prevents it.
Donnley tries to pull guard but Allen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Donnley jumps guard but Allen stands there with Donnley around his waist. Donnley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Allen has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Donnley clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Donnley is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Allen controlling the position well here. Donnley rolled but Allen kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Allen has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Allen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nathaniel Allen will probably get the nod.
