Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Lock (ranked 5134 p4p, 516 weight class) and Jason Lynn (ranked 7028 p4p, 584 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ian Lock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Lynn!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lynn gets a double leg takedown into Lock's guard.
Lynn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lock working for a triangle but Lynn defends it easily.
Lynn looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
It looks like Lynn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Lynn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lock looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Lynn won't allow Lock to sweep him here.

Lock is looking for a triangle but Lynn pushes his legs off easily.
Lynn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lock keeping moving, preventing Lynn from controlling successfully.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lock looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Lock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lynn defends well.

Lock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lynn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lock looking for a guillotine here but Lynn defends easily.
Lynn stands up over Lock, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lynn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Lynn is in close to Lock's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lynn wants to control from the top but Lock keeps moving.
Lynn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lock is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Lynn landing some decent shots from guard.

Lock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lynn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lock keeping full guard, as Lynn tries to pass.
Lock could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lynn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lynn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lynn passes Lock's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Lock looking for a kimura from the bottom but Lynn passes into side control!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here.
Lock tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lynn scores with a couple of short elbows.
Lynn is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lock will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Check out the look on Lynn's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lynn cracks Lock with a big elbow.
Lock sneaks back into half guard.

Lock is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lynn pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jason Lynn will probably get the nod.

Lynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Lock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Lock has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lynn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lock has tightened it up now! Lynn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ian Lock!
Ian Lock very nearly forgot to thank Bloodsport clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
