And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamata swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Knapp counters with a nice body shot.
Tamata throws a predictable looking body shot
and Knapp counters with a left to the body.

Tamata closes the distance and pushes Knapp back into the cage.
Tamata blocking some punches.
Knapp can't break the clinch.
Knapp takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Victor Knapp has been cut.
Knapp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Knapp controlling the action here for a moment.
Tamata on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tamata escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tamata bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Knapp is trying to get back to half guard.

Knapp manages to get back to half guard.
Tamata looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Knapp is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tamata is nestled in close to Knapp, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tamata seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Knapp is rocked!
Tamata lands a big elbow - Knapp is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Tamata!
