The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Dam throws a head kick that misses.
Tyler avoids the head kick by Van Dam.

Tyler goes for a takedown attempt but Van Dam pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Van Dam throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Van Dam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tyler keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Van Dam is looking to clinch but Tyler is avoiding it.

Tyler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tyler has hold of Van Dam's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Van Dam seems comfortable defending it but Tyler has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Van Dam is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Van Dam is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tyler couldn't care less - he's delighted!
