PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bin Laden (ranked 3406 p4p, 356 weight class) and Tatsuya Kimura (ranked 2740 p4p, 298 weight class). Laden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I am Bin Laden - 5jonttu55 . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Kimura counters with a shoot takedown. Laden fights it but they end up in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Bin Laden will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kimura swings around for an armbar but Laden sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kimura's guard.

Kimura drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Laden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kimura has Laden in his guard.

Kimura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Laden doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Laden manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Laden stands and throws Kimura's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Laden advances to mount.
Laden tries to control but Kimura wriggling away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kimura is wriggling around trying to escape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bin Laden will probably get the nod.
That's time! Laden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A punch lands to the side of Kimura 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Laden looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kimura lands a nice hook to Laden's body. Laden takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Laden keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The crowd cheers as Kimura lands an impressive looking overhand right. Laden doesn't seem phased though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Laden, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
