Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manu Ahonen (ranked 2223 p4p, 271 weight class) and Gum Shoe (ranked 1346 p4p, 181 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shoe's corner calls for a 1-2. Shoe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Shoe fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ahonen checks it well.

Shoe is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Shoe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ahonen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ahonen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shoe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shoe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

I would just about give that final round to Gum Shoe.
