Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Clancy (ranked 2840 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Skjold Hansen (ranked 23894 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clancy shoots in for a takedown but Skjold Hansen shows good takedown defense.
Skjold Hansen stalks Clancy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clancy's face. Clancy staggers backwards, shaken.

Clancy has a takedown stuffed.
Clancy is breathing heavily.
Clancy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skjold Hansen as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon Clancy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice jab there from Skjold Hansen.
Skjold Hansen lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Clancy up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Skjold Hansen from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Clancy's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Richard Skjold Hansen!
