The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons misses with the combination.
Nice combo by Simmons! Oh, that's hurt him - Belmont falls to the canvas and Simmons follows him into side control.
Belmont isn't going anywhere.
Belmont tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Simmons wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Simmons wants to stand but Belmont has his arm trapped.
Belmont is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Belmont wants to control but Simmons is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Belmont.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Simmons throws a shot from downtown. Belmont moves away and avoids it.
Simmons throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Belmont colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Simmons as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Belmont is left battered and dazed whilst Simmons and his camp cheer!
