Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Deleon (ranked 24917 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Racker (ranked 4790 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Racker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ralph Deleon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Racker!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Racker keeps the fight on the outside.
Racker with a poor takedown
and Deleon counters with a series of strikes. Racker will be more careful next time no doubt.

Racker drives through with a takedown into guard.
Deleon is controlling Racker's posture.

Deleon has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Racker is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Deleon throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Deleon is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Racker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Racker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Deleon pushes Racker off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Racker instigates a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Racker has hold of one of Deleon's legs. Deleon is fighting the takedown attempt but Racker gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Deleon manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Deleon lands a nice uppercut.
Deleon managing to block the knees to the body from Racker.
Racker goes for a takedown attempt but Deleon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Racker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Deleon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Racker.

Deleon throws Racker to one side and escapes!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deleon tries to clinch but Racker moves out of range.

Racker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Deleon's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Deleon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Racker won't allow Deleon to get back to his feet.
Deleon trying to control the position here.
Deleon wants to stand but Racker is controlling the position.
Deleon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Deleon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Racker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Deleon has Racker pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Racker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Deleon tries to avoid it but Racker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Deleon to the ground. Deleon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ralph Deleon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Racker.
Deleon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Racker is fending him off so far but Deleon persists. Nope, Racker circles away and we're back to standing.

Racker gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Racker tries to score a body lock takedown but Deleon shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Racker wants to get back to striking at distance but Deleon won't allow it.
Racker is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Deleon to keep the fight standing.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Racker manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Racker shoots in looking for a takedown. Deleon tries to sprawl out of it but Racker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Deleon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Danga de danga de dang - Deleon scores with a four punch combination!
A slow jab from Deleon misses its intended target.
Deleon closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Racker shoots in for a takedown but Deleon shows good takedown defense.
Deleon stuffs the takedown attempt from Racker. Racker gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ralph Deleon dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Deleon shoots in and drives through. Racker sprawls well.
Racker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Deleon blocks a head kick by Racker.
Deleon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Racker can do to turn this around?

Racker tries for a takedown but Deleon manages to get underhooks.
Deleon misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Racker.
Racker goes for a takedown attempt but Deleon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Racker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ralph Deleon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Racker tries to land a front kick but Deleon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jack Racker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Racker misses with a head kick.

Racker drops Deleon with a beautiful combination! Deleon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Racker is looking for the KO!


Deleon is rocked!


It looks like Ralph Deleon has been cut.

Racker shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Deleon is on queer street and Racker is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Jack Racker!
