The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Sutton.
Sutton wants to clinch.
Sutton is looking to clinch but Repstien is avoiding it.

Sutton gets caught flat footed, as Repstien shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Sutton has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Repstien off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Repstien closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sutton quickly recovers to half guard.

Sutton has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Repstien is on him like a limpet, forcing Sutton back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sutton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Repstien throws a head kick that misses.

Repstien drives through and clinches with Sutton against the cage.

Repstien pulls Sutton into guard.
Repstien bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sutton's guard.

Repstien prevents Sutton from getting back to his feet.

Sutton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Repstien regains full guard. Nicely done.
Repstien manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sutton manages to get himself to full guard.

Repstien throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sutton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Repstien cracks Sutton with a solid left hand.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sutton is on top in guard.

Repstien has a closed guard, preventing Sutton from standing up.
Sutton throws a big right hand that misses.
Sutton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Repstien lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Sutton wants to sweep but no luck.

Repstien drops back looking for a leg! Sutton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sutton manages to kick Repstien off! Repstien jumps back into Sutton's guard.
Sutton tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Repstien passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Repstien scores with a couple of short elbows.
