Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dane Berry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blue Dream!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dream tries to land a front kick but Berry steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Berry dives in and grabs Dream's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dream pushes down on Berry's head and hops out.
Berry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dream is pushing Berry up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Come on Berry - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bit of stalling here from Dream.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Berry looking to slow down the pace here.
Berry tries to break free but Dream pushes him back against the cage.

Berry manages to break the clinch.

Dream instigates a clinch.
Dream has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Berry after a bit of a struggle.
Dream has Berry pressed against the cage, preventing Berry from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Dream leaning against his opponent.
Berry is trying to push Dream away but Dream has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Dream's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blue Dream seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berry wants to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dream looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dream missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berry on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Dream seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dream working over Berry with some ground and pound. Berry looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Berry keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Dream thows a huge punch but Berry dodges it nicely.
Berry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dream on the ground.
Dream winds up and cracks Berry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Dream is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Berry doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dream.
Dream has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Berry wants to get back to full guard.
Dream takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dream missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Berry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dream sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Dream looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Berry with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dream working Berry over with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dream stalling.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dream lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blue Dream dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Dream fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dream feints and as Berry raises his hands in defense, Dream changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Berry is looking for a triangle here but Dream uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Dream tries to stand but Berry is controlling his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Berry seems a little lost for a moment, as Dream dominates the positioning.

Dream has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Berry is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dream yanks on the arm and Berry is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dream.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Blue Dream!
