The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orston closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Baker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Orston thuds a left hand into Baker's body.
Baker wants to clinch.

Orston is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Baker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Orston has him pressed against the cage.
Orston has Baker pressed against the cage, preventing Baker from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Baker blocks a head kick by Orston.
Baker takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Baker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Baker keeps the fight on the outside.
Orston lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Baker backs up against the cage.

and Orston counters with a slapping leg kick.
Orston takes a jab right on the kisser.

and Baker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Orston thows a body kick. Baker tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Baker sizes up Orston with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Orston counters with a solid body kick.
Orston's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Orston duly obliges.

Orston scores with a jab to the jaw.
Baker throws a sloppy body shot
and Orston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Baker is rocked!
Orston clinches up against the cage.
Baker missing with knees to the body.
Baker blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Orston stops a takedown attempt from Baker.
Baker tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Orston keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Baker's efforts to push away.
Orston tries to work over Baker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Baker manages to break the clinch.
Baker moves into range and clinches up with Orston.
Orston pushes Baker back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Orston lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Baker.
Baker is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Baker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Orston fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Baker.
A jab from Orston does it's job there.
Danga de danga de dang - Orston scores with a four punch combination!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Orston dominated that round.
The cut man is working on David Orston's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Orston throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Baker on the side of the head.
Orston has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Baker wants to clinch.
Orston misses with a combination
and Baker counters with a lovely straight right hand!
David Orston seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Baker takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Orston misses with a shot to the body
and Baker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A head kick misses from Baker.
Orston fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Baker to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Baker looks to clinch but Orston throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Baker taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
