Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tobb Le Tobb (ranked 2323 p4p, 241 weight class) and Joao Cajo Branca (ranked 1589 p4p, 183 weight class). Branca is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Run the Jewels. Joao Cajo Branca told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Tobb connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Le Tobb avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've been hearing reports that Le Tobb has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Branca throws a lazy uppercut
and Le Tobb counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Joao Cajo Branca has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Branca. Those never looked like landing.
Branca throws a leg kick that misses.
Le Tobb is looking to counter punch.
Branca connects with a jab.

Branca throws a hook but Le Tobb avoids it easily.
Le Tobb is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Branca explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Branca throws a shot from downtown. Le Tobb moves away and avoids it.
Le Tobb feinted there with a counter leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Branca looks to land a left hand but Le Tobb moved out of range nicely.
Branca connects with a leg kick. Le Tobb looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Le Tobb appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Branca lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Branca counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Le Tobb chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Branca can pounce on him.
Branca throws a lazy right hand but Le Tobb sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Le Tobb attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Le Tobb takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh Le Tobb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No joy there for Le Tobb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Le Tobb has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Branca.
Le Tobb seems to have got his legs back now.
Le Tobb is breathing heavily.
Le Tobb slips a straight right by Branca.
Le Tobb is looking to counter punch.

Branca closes the distance and clinches.
Branca pushes Le Tobb back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Branca gets through Le Tobb's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Le Tobb scores with a nice short uppercut.
Branca pushes Le Tobb against the cage. Branca is working some dirty boxing. Branca pushes off with a quick right hook! Le Tobb goes down! Le Tobb tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Branca moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joao Cajo Branca!
A relieved looking Joao Cajo Branca thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
