The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doppler takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Doppler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dilja swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dilja misses the jab.
Dilja just misses with a punch to the body.
Doppler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dilja misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doppler goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Dilja wants to get back to striking at distance but Doppler won't allow it.

Dilja cracks Doppler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Andrea Dilja is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dilja jabs Doppler right on the nose. Doppler blinks but takes it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dilja tries to close the distance and clinch but Doppler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Doppler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Doppler closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Dilja throws a hook to the side of Doppler's head but Doppler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nice straight punches there by Dilja. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dilja.

Dilja tries to bum rush Doppler with a series of wild strikes but Doppler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Doppler counters with a head kick. That will keep Dilja thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Dilja throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Doppler sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Doppler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Dilja changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dilja connects with a nice looking jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dilja connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Doppler momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrea Dilja will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Doppler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Doppler lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dilja backs up against the cage.
Dilja lands a nice hook to Doppler's body. Doppler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Doppler takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd cheers as Dilja lands an impressive looking overhand right. Doppler doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Doppler goes for a takedown attempt but Dilja pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Dilja lands with a nice combination. Doppler backs away looking to recover.
Dilja's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dilja duly obliges.

Doppler is rocked!
Dilja connects with a nice cross there... Doppler is looking wobbly and Dilja recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Doppler to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Dilja jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
