PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between kjkkjk iuoii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Fried (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fried has chosen Tony D - Geh ab as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
iuoii tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fried swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fried misses with an attempted mid kick.

Fried shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fried showed some decent athleticism there.
Still in half guard, Fried seems content to control.

iuoii really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fried is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so iuoii is just riding it out for now. Fried eventually gives up the hold.

iuoii knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fried on the ground.

Fried is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

iuoii is refusing to be controlled, as Fried sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fried tries to move to mount but iuoii blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fried tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fried has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Fried thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed iuoii's head.
iuoii tries to kick Fried off but Fried keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fried postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. iuoii looks a forlorn figure.
Fried lands a big shot there that rocks iuoii but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fried takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fried is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but iuoii is surviving well by controlling Fried's body position as best he can.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
