The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boagrius takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Paulin thuds his shin into the meat of Boagrius's side.
Paulin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Paulin throws a low kick but Boagrius moves out of range easily.
Paulin walks into a straight right hand from Boagrius.

It looks like Thierry Paulin has been cut.
Paulin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boagrius can pounce on him.
Paulin misses with a hook. Boagrius ducked under it nicely.
Paulin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boagrius manages to avoid it.
Paulin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boagrius moves away.
Paulin works the jab nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Paulin throws a lazy right hand but Boagrius sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Paulin missing with a left hand there. Boagrius was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Paulin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Paulin thuds his right hand into Boagrius's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Boagrius counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Paulin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boagrius looks to throw the jab but Paulin is out of range.
Boagrius has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Paulin digs a good hook to Boagrius's body.
Nice uppercut lands for Paulin. That snapped Boagrius's head back.
Paulin throws a hook but Boagrius blocks it.

Boagrius feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Paulin sprawling to the canvas! Paulin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Boagrius finish him?!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boagrius avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Paulin lands a big head kick that sends Boagrius tumbling to the mat! Paulin takes a step backwards and waves Boagrius back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Boagrius is rocked!

It looks like Orpheus Boagrius has been cut.
Boagrius walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Boagrius limp body while Paulin jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
