Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan van der Burgt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van der Burgt comes to the cage accompanied by Sepultura - Angel. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but van der Burgt swivels and escapes.

Fatu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. van der Burgt tries to avoid it but Fatu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag van der Burgt to the ground. van der Burgt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

van der Burgt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fatu as he jumps to the side.

Fatu might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Horrible takedown by van der Burgt or perhaps it was just good defense by Fatu which made him look bad.
Fatu shoots for a double leg takedown but van der Burgt sprawls well. He's pushed Fatu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
