Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuhsuck Mi (ranked 3124 p4p, 295 weight class) and Able James (ranked 4653 p4p, 392 weight class). Able James has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuhsuck Mi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Able James!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mi misses with a right hand
and James counters with a stiff right hand.

James closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

James pulls guard successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now James is on top in guard.

Mi is looking to stand back up but James counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mi.

Mi is in trouble now - James has advanced to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mi because James loaded up on that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
James breaks from Mi's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Mi is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
James controlling the pace for now.
Let's hope that James has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
James's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
It looks like James might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
James looking to control but Mi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mi is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
James tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
James is continuing to stall.
We've been hearing good reports from Mi's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

James with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mi is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Mi wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by James.

James jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mi manages to avoid the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
James advances to mount.
James misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
James won't let Mi get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Mi trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
James looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Able James dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


James scores with a hook to the body. Mi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mi lands with a shot to the body.
Mi throws a big shot that misses.
James looks for a takedown but Mi sprawls well.
James avoids the head kick by Mi.
James shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mi pinned against the cage. Mi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It looked like Mi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yuhsuck Mi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James shoots in but no luck this time.
Mi throws a big counter combination but James scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Yuhsuck Mi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Able James.
Mi throws a perfectly timed hook that sends James crashing down! James tries to stagger back to his feet but Mi just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused James asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuhsuck Mi!
