Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Souza (ranked 7252 p4p, 530 weight class) and Maximilian Alexei (ranked 6643 p4p, 514 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Souza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maximilian Alexei!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexei waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Souza.
Alexei rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Souza counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Souza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Souza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Souza postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alexei is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Souza, into his guard.

Alexei passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Souza tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alexei stands up.
Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alexei swivels and escapes.
Alexei looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Souza throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alexei was covering up waiting for the punch and Souza finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Alexei avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Souza is breathing heavily.
Alexei postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Alexei is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Souza is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Alexei defends well.

Alexei is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Alexei scoring with some ground and pound.

Souza has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Alexei should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Souza has tightened it up now! Alexei should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
